Mr. Rafiq Ahmed Lakhani, CEO, presented "Vision and Mission" of Rastek Technologies, as the core objective of this seminar was around NI Product specially Elvis, LabVIEW & MultiSIM. While Prof. Dr. Altaf Mukati share his Electronic Work-Bench memoirs with Mr Rafiq when it comes to speak on electronic simulation.

Later, Mr Ahmed Bilal and Mr Elie explained NI scope of work with respect to simulation, emulation, mechatronics, and robotics. All these were focused on education. How NI has been working with different educational societies all around world. Specifically working with MIT is explained and a video is played for audience to get some know-how on NI Academic activities.

After a short break, we returned to listen Dr Bhawani Shanker DEAN, MUET.
He presented his article “Project-Based Learning”. Dr Bhawani speaks his article, and shares his experience for PBL. He focused his concerns that a student, educators and organizations who facilitate an educational institute would work together to resolve real-world problem using a generalized concepts of PBL as practiced by other countries.

Finally, we arrived to get knowledge of NI Elvis.

The Elvis, and other related NI products is presented by Mr. Elie Abou Nasr, Manager Middle East NI and Ahmed Bilal, NI Pakistan. Mr Elie says that NI is always ready to work with educational sectors to provide more intelligent and cost-effective solution to equip their technical laboratories so students can get hands-on experience on real-world problems with minimum efforts and without any resources wastage as normally it happen with industries. NI Elvis with LabVIEW, a student can do all practical for what they learn in theory.

Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam Uqaili concluded the seminar with his most appreciable and intellectual remarks. At this occasion, “Ajrak” presented by Rafiq Ahmed Lakhani to Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili and to Elie Abou Nasr.

People from educational sectors contribute a good comments and express their feelings about this event. While, several other attendees from non-educational sectors also add their statement regarding the real-world challenges that can be easily solved using Elvis & LabVIEW.

We, GNoor PCtronics appreciate such events and foresee a good learning environment not only for students but for industrial engineers as well. We are more convinced by Mr Elie Abou Nasr, that these tools, like Elvis can be utilized in industries to solve complex problems without investing huge resources.

We all are working together to get a better tomorrow.

When 24x7x365 basis electrical operation is required, users must arrange appropriate control unit to keep their operation alive & active. High Tech equipments are designed to operate without interruption; infrastructure usually doesn't support such rigorous dependability. Among other supporting equipments, Air Conditioners are supposed to work on regular basis to maintain an ideal working temperature. As Air Conditioners FAIL, room temperature will raise the above rated value creating problems for equipments operating inside the room.

SOLUTION; What's needed is an intelligent approach to these environmental measurement & control to improve work flow and performance of high tech equipment implanted inside a packed room that protects an unrealistic workload on supervisors and site engineers. REDAC upload climate data to your web server over GPRS using standard HTTP, TCP, UDP protocols. LinkVIEW connects your web server over GPRS to collect data from remote locations with extensible data responses from server to be presented at LinkVIEW console. A low cost high performance mini black box based on microchip pic18f45xx micro controller is here that keep posting live physical data to web server with no human intervention.

HOW IT WORKS? LinkVIEW, accept digital data streams from its interface ports, like RS232, RS422, PS/2, CAN OR 26-bit Wiegand, and upload to web server including extra information such as date, time, location info, unit identification code with check sum over GPRS link using either HTTP, TCP or UDP protocol. In response, web server replies an XML data containing two sixteen-characters wide text streams to be displayed on LCD additionally four Yes/No parameters encapsulated in XML response from web server are processed by LinkVIEW that controls; a Beep, a Flashing Logo, and GO & NO GO signals.

When you have LinkVIEW you can rest assured that your equipment is doing what it's supposed to do. Whether it's a compressor, EFM, generator, tank, dehydrator, plunger head, or other piece of equipment, LinkVIEW upload digital data stream from intelligent sensors to your web data server over GPRS.

LinkVIEW is designed to offer rapid application development board to collect discrete data from remote locations without spending extra resources on designing data collection board for every new application. It provides multi function board to deploy highly integrated data posting device over GPRS using industry standard protocol HTTP, TCP & UDP. A fail-safe micro controller, quad band GSM/EDGE engine and an intelligent multi-chemistry battery charger with dual power supply inlets, and automatic cut-off mechanism to avoid rechargeable battery deep discharge is all implemented on LinkVIEW. The LinkVIEW board let you develop your application as quick as possible.
